Overview

I’ve developed a strong interest in 3D printing clay, and am working on converting my Anycubic Vyper into a clay printer.

The system will use compressed air for clay delivery and a stepper-driven screw for controlled clay extrusion.

Why clay?

Clay is reusable and eco-friendly. It’s fun to work with (but also very messy).

Update (Feb 2026)

I’m currently developing the clay printhead. Here’s version 1 (3D printed).

The design is intended to be easy and quick to disassemble for cleaning and component swaps.
